Hey guysss!!!!
This blog post is for the peeps who aren't going trick or treating this year and are staying at home eating all of the Halloween sweets while waiting for some one to knock on your door, or are having a party but don't know what sweets to get.
When it comes to Halloween, we all have our favourite sweets to choose from, so I thought I would show you some of the sweets that are my favourite or that I think are really population during this season.
Lets start!
DRUMSTICKS
I don't know what I love about drumstick lollies but they are definitely one of ma faves.
Whenever I think of Halloween sweets, drumstick lollies are always the first to come into my head.
There are so many different types of drumsticks, like the bubblegum flavour and the pink and green ones.
I feel like every time you go trick or treating, drumsticks are always the sweets that everybody wants to pick out of the bowl ( well,I do ). I think they are a very popular sweet at this time of year, and that is why I have put them on this blog post.
CHOCOLATE EYEBALLS
Who can do Halloween without some chocolate eyeballs?
They are so much fun for the Halloween season, not to mention how delicious they are.
Chocolate eyeballs are the best for Halloween themed picnics and parties because I meaaaaan........ they are chocolate eyeballs. They are eyeballs made of chocolate. What more do we need ?
CREME EGGS ( SCREME EGGS)
I loooove creme eggs, they are one of the best things.
I think that the Halloween style of the creme eggs are so cool. Even though they have only changed the colouring inside the egg and the packaging. I love how they have changed the 'creme egg' to 'screme eggs', and yes I am spelling it right lol.
I know that a lot of people don't actually like creme eggs but for me personally, they are so good, I don't really get them that often but when I do, it is 100% worth it.
LOVE HEARTS
Love Hearts are another popular sweet that come to mind when I think of Halloween sweets.
You always see Love Hearts in the bowl of sweets when you knock on the door, although, I don't think that many people actually like them. I do though.
I like the fizzy kind of taste thing that goes on when you eat them. Do you know what I mean ?
CANDY CORN
Now I'm pretty sure that you can't get this in the UK and so I have never actually tried Candy corn before, but I do know what it is a very popular sweet in America and that is why I decided to put it on my list.
I don't actually know what Candy corn is like so here is what I found on the Internet......... Candy Corn is creamy and smooth, it should be like biting in to butter. (what!) Candy Corn is supposed to have marshmallow, vanilla and buttery caramel- like flavour notes.
Tbh, it sounds pretty weird.
HALLOWEEN HARIBOS
I don't really have much to say about Haribos because they are not really my fave, but they are very popular at this time of year because of the Halloween version that they do. So that is why I thought I would add them on to this post. I always end up with some Halloween Haribos whenever I go trick or treating.
REFRESHERS
Okay, I'm just going to put it out there, I think that refreshers are one of my favourite sweets eveer.
I love them. The lemony flavour and the sherbet in the middle, it's just delicious.
If I was at home on Halloween, and I had a bowl of refreshers for the kids knocking at the door, there would be none left because I would of eaten them all.
They are just so good, and definitely deserve to be on this blog post.
CHUPA CHYPS
We all know what chupa chyps are.
The lollies that we've been given since we were like two?
Well, I didn't know this but they actually do Halloween versions. I thought this was pretty cool because I mean who doesn't love the different flavours of chupa chyps? My favourites are apple, strawberry and cream and chocolate and vanilla.
So when I saw that they did a Halloween version, I thought that they had to go onto this blog post.
