Wow it's been a while.
Hey, guys welcome back to my blog.
Today i thought i would tell you about our family holiday that we went on a couple of weeks ago.
We had such a nice time and had lots of adventures and this is probably going to be quite a long blog post so lets start!
Day one-
So on the first day, we set off on our adventure.
It was pretty stressful trying to get the bags in the car with the dogs and all, but we finally managed it.
I think it took about an hour and a half to two hours to get there and it was quite crammed but we did it.
When we got to the beach, we couldn't get the keys for quite a while so we went down to the beach to have lunch.
The sea was out and it had left a little pool ( that was a lot deeper than you would of thought) and Gimley loved running in it to catch the ball... Gus however, had to swim through because he was to small! lol
We had lunch on the beach and then went for a really long walk down it and dad found a really amazing fossil that sadly I don't have a picture of but I will put one on my insta. ( @_lottiesworld_)
When we walked back up the beach, it was nearly time to get the keys so we went up to the cafe and had a drink before going and finding out how to get the keys .
Going in to the caravan is always my favourite part, looking around the caravan, choosing your room, unpacking all the stuff. It was really exciting.
After we unpacked and made ourselves at home, we went to Scarborough for some tea and of course we had fish and chips, Why wouldn't we?!
Then for pudding I had some doughnuts because seaside doughnuts are the best and you can't go to the beach without having them.
We went to the little fun fair place and felicity and mum went on the ferris wheel ....... there was no way that I was going on it.
After that we went on some arcade games, tried to win an Eeyore and a sloth and a cookie monster and it did not work.
We also went up to the light house and it was just so amazing and peaceful.
And then we went home and got snuggled up for the night.
day 2-
So on day two, we went to Dolby Forest, I love it there because there are just so many adventures and places to explore and it's just so amazing.
We took a picnic to eat on the way around but it started raining :( I ate mine anyway lol.
We went back to the cafe and got a hot chocolate which was so delicious, I loved it!
But we ended up going home a bit earlier because we were a bit soggy and wet.
We also got the cookies for pudding and O.....M......G they were amaaaaaazing!!!
I could honestly sit here all day and just tell you about how amazing these cookies were because they were gooooooooooooooooooood. They were crumbly on the outside and gooey on the inside and they had melted chocolate chips in them.
Oh they were amazing.
Then we all walked down to the beach and it was just so calming and amazing, the sun was going down and it was getting dark and it was just so amazing.
I could of stayed there all night.
After that we just chilled and went to bed.
Dolby forest
On day three we got up really early and went down tot he beach to walk the dogs,
it was really amazing and peaceful and there was no body around us at all.
Then we drove to Filey animal and bird park and it was so much fun because you could feed the ponies and donkeys and the sheep and goats, and there were talking parrots, it was great.
For lunch we went to a dog friendly restaurant and i got a chicken burger and it was so big it came out on a wooden chopping board!..... I ate it all.
Then we went down to the beach and I got a salted caramel fudge in clotted cream ice cream and it was so delicious! I loved it.
We went for a little stroll down the beach and it was the funniest thing because Gus Gus tried to chase the seagulls away but obviously it wasn't working. We couldn't stop laughing.
Then we went home for a bit ( to the caravan) and then we went back out to Scarborough for our last night.
Everybody but me and dad and the dogs ( obviously) went on the ferris wheel and then we went inside the fun house, which was a little bit weird.
We went on the arcades again and mum actually managed to win two pug teddies which was pretty cool, we also went to a little store called the shell shack and I bought the cutest little shell owl which i now have in my room as a memory.
Then we got some fudge from the fudge shop.
And we got a hot dog for tea and all of a sudden a seagull came swooping down at me and TRIED TO STEAL MY HOTDOG !!!!!!! It didn't actually get my hot dog, it got my thumb instead but I was so shocked and confused that i threw it at them lol.
We did pick it up and throw it in the bin though so that the seagulls didn't get to eat it.
And i was so upset that my mum actually bought me an ice cream and doughnuts so it was alright in the end.
Then we got in the car and while we were driving past all the arcades we started saying bye to them.
It got a bit emotional.
We went to this really cute park with a big lake in it, but it wasn't lit up so you couldn't really see anything which was a bit of a shame, but after that we went back to the caravan and got our pjs on and chilled.
The last day-
On the last day we packed our bags and got everything ready to go in the car and then went for our final little stroll down to the beach. The sun was just coming up and there was no one else around and it just got a little bit emotional again.
We didn't want to leave and we just had such an amazing time I wish we could of stayed for longer.
It was nice to go home though and to see my little Tilly and George and Sid again.
I did miss them.
